Description
Cashew nuts´ taste is sweeter and less intense than the one of peanuts or walnuts. Cashew nuts grow on a 12-meter-high tree named Anacardium occidentale or simply the cashew tree. It is grown in tropics and originally comes from Brazil. The fruit of the cashew tree is called the ''cashew apple'' and there are edible achenes, which are known as cashew nuts.
