When drying organic fruit, the so-called sugar coating occurs, which becomes evident by white spots on the fruit. This does not reduce the quality of the product but, on the contrary, it is a visible guarantee that the organic fruit had not been treated with any chemical agent that prevents sugar coating.
Fruit drying significantly contributes to its durability and can be used as an alternative to off-season fresh fruit. For better taste, cranberries can be pre-soaked in warm water for half an hour before use.
Organic food always goes through a system of checks and certifications that ensures their quality and enables them to bear this designation. Their organic quality is particularly appreciated by people with an interest in organic farming and a sustainable farming system.
