Sladovit can be used when baking pastries, but also for the preparation of desserts. Sladovit promotes yeasty activity in yeast dough and thus the bread volume. It helps to achieve a better appearance, uniform porosity, brittleness and colouration of the crust, improves plumpness, taste and durability of the pastry. It can be used in water, milk and fat pastries. For example, in rye bread with honey, soy, sunflower. Furthermore, it can be used in common wheat pastry and oat and wheat diet breads. When preparing desserts, Sladovit can be used as an ingredient in durable products such as gingerbread, chopsticks, waffles or biscuits. If you like making homemade candies or caramels, Sladovit can also be used.
Malt extracts are made from wort, which is ground malt carefully cooked in drinking water. Subsequently, the wort is thickened by evaporation to produce a malt liquid extract of honey consistency which has a strong sweet taste and a typical malt scent without foreign odours.
Sladovna Bruntál has been engaged in the production of malt extracts for more than 100 years. The company's production follows the tradition of brewing beer. Malt extracts are produced directly from their own malt and with respect to the original technologies. Products are used at home as a sweetener, in bakery and even in the textile industry.
