Description
Himalayan pink salt comes from Pakistan from the Khewra Salt Mine in Punjab Province. The salt was named after the Himalayan mountains, located only 200 kilometres from the mine. It is the second-largest salt mine in the world, and its salt has been exported to the world since the 16th century.
Our Himalayan salt is unrefined. It means that it has not been treated with chemicals and has retained its form of nature. Therefore, it does not contain preservatives or anti-caking agents such as refined salts.
