Moroccan clay ghassoul or also known as rhassoul has an extensive use. You can use it as a skin mask or body wrap. It is also used in the no-poo hair washing method. Moroccan women used rhassoul instead of soap and shampoo to cleanse the whole body. Clay has a strong detoxifying and cleaning effects. It effectively cleans clogged pores and removes "blackheads" as well as excess grease. Therefore, it is a suitable helper mainly for oily skin, which helps to normalise.
It also performs a gentle scrub when washed - its tiny particles have an abrasive effect, removing dead greyish skin cells and leaving the skin beautifully smooth, radiant and ready for further care. It improves blood circulation in the skin and helps to delay the ageing process when used regularly. It also improves the condition of problematic skin, which is suffering from eczema or acne. Mix the clay with water to the required density. It can be mixed with selected flowery water or, in the case of dry skin, with good vegetable oil.
