If you have heard people criticising corn syrup, we need to mention that it is a completely different product - High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), which was used mainly in the USA for all kinds of food and beverages in the 20th century. This has led to an increased number of obesity.
Differences between our corn syrup and High Fructose Corn Syrup:
Country Life Corn Syrup

High Fructose Corn Syrup
- made from corn starch
- highly industrially processed product
- chemical filtration
- artificially increased fructose content
- is clear and contains no minerals
The syrup contains 24 % glucose and 32 % maltose.
