- Side dish - the jasmine rice can be used as a side dish for sauce dishes
- Risotto - you can mix the jasmine rice in a classic way with vegetables and your favourite spices
- Fried rice - after cooking, you can roast the rice in a larger amount of oil together with vegetables for about 2 minutes, add mixed eggs in the end and fry shortly, just add spices to flavour the dish
- Pudding - put grated apples in layers to a baking tin, switch the layers with layers of cooked rice, sprinkle the layers with nuts, cinnamon and possibly sugar, bake shortly in the oven
Jasmine rice originally comes from northern Thailand. However, today it is also cultivated in Laos, Vietnam and even in Italy. The jasmine rice has gotten its name because of its floral scent that reminds of the jasmine, and also because of its white colour. This specific scent is created naturally in the rice. After cooking, the rice is loose, sticky and slightly sweet.
