If you tried coriander leaves and did not like them, try its seeds or somewhat botanically correct fruits. They have a completely different taste. The leaves have a fresh flavour that resembles soap to some, while its fruits have a spicy-woody aroma with a sweet peppery undertone. Coriander is one of the most versatile spices ever. It must not be missing in the mixture of gingerbread and is one of the essential spices in curry.
It will bring fresh wind to your kitchen in the form of Arabic, Indian or African specialities. It fits wonderfully into apple compote or vegetable curry. We recommend dosing coriander with a pinch because it has a very intense taste.
