Description
Cumin is one of the oldest seasoning ever and is typical for its bittersweet aroma. Thanks to its taste, it is ideal to be added in vegetable meals. Do not forget to put it in sauerkraut, cabbage soup and other cabbage dishes. It is an essential seasoning for baking home-made pastries. People also often add it to pickled vegetables, mushroom or potato soups.
It is also often a part of anti-flatulent teas. Even though most people find its taste pleasant, they often hate biting cumin directly. If you want to avoid it, just add cumin seeds to the dish in a bag made of natural material (even with larger pieces of seasoning, such as bay leaf or juniper) and take it out after cooking. The aroma and taste of cumin will develop even more if you fry it briefly before use.
Organic food always goes through a system of checks and certifications that ensures their quality and enables them to bear this designation. Their organic quality is particularly appreciated by people with an interest in organic farming and a sustainable farming system.
